Senior Philanthropy Officer Full Time Permanent

Are you an experienced major donor fundraiser looking for a new challenge? Action for Children are looking for a Senior Philanthropy Officer to join their successful and growing Philanthropy and Trusts team. Action for Children, believe that every child should have a safe and happy childhood and last year they helped more than 765,000 children and families across the UK. This role is an amazing opportunity to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children, young people and families across the UK and comes with great benefits like 29 days annual leave and up to 7% pension.
You’ll need:

• Proven success fundraising from major donors and family foundations and a track record of securing high value (five figure) gifts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills – with the ability to present complex information clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
• Demonstrable experience in relationship development, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels to negotiate, manage and inspire others to support financially.

Salary: £36,300 plus London Weighting of £3,333 if applicable
Contract: Permanent
Location: Hybrid – 2 days a week in London office
