Supporter Engagement and Development Manager

We are hoping to find an outstanding Supporter Engagement and Development Manager for Brooke. Around 600 million people rely on horses, donkeys and mules for their livelihoods and transport; Brooke work within these complex and fascinating networks to improve the lives of the animals and their owners.

Responsible for three Senior Support Engagement and Development Officers, you will deliver marketing activity that brings in over £5 million from regular giving and £1 million from cash appeals. Managing the budget, strategy and reporting on progress, you will not be afraid to reforecast and take a dynamic approach to the management of Brooke’s key accounts.

Through innovative and conscientious strategy, you will improve the experience of regular givers, with a particular focus on uplifting donors to maximise their lifetime value. This role is a great opportunity for someone to develop their professional experience and work in a leading animal rights charity.

To be a brilliant Supporter Engagement and Development Manager, you will need:

  • Fundraising experience across a range of channels and products, with strong understanding of regular giving and cash fundraising processes, principles and KPIs
  • Experience of managing and motivating teams, especially around inspiring teams to deliver ambitious income and engagement plans, budgets and targets
  • Experience of developing detailed budgets and reporting variances against plans and reforecasting
  • Understanding funnel marketing to steward supporters to maximise engagement and income

Salary: £48,000-£52,000
