Internal Communications Manager

We are excited to be searching for an Internal Communications Manager for the wonderful Brooke. Around 600 million people rely on horses, donkeys and mules for their livelihoods and transport; Brooke work within these complex and fascinating networks to improve the lives of the animals and their owners. Brooke’s culture around ED&I is fully developed, having conducted and actioned comprehensive audits across their workforce to ensure they offer a diverse and inclusive working environment to all.

Taking an active interest in the work Brooke is doing overseas, you will develop an engaging communications strategy that will serve to connect staff to the outcomes of their hard work. You will be working in a lovely organisation, that wants someone who can build relationships to meet the needs of Brooke’s employees.

With your experience in different channels, platforms and styles of communication, you will bring a strong storytelling skillset that lends itself to consistent and engaging messaging. With an innovative and problem-solving ethos, you will undertake reviews of the products and channels Brooke is using and suggest alternatives to improve the employee experience.

To be a brilliant Internal Communications Manager for Brooke, you will need:

  • Experience in internal communications with a track record of developing and executing internal communication plans
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling communications
  • A proactive, helpful and positive approach to colleagues
  • Understanding of digital platforms used for internal communications and experience producing high-quality content

Salary: £43,000 – £45,000 (pro rata)

Contract: Part-time – Permanent

Location: London/hybrid
