Head of Trusts and Projects Full Time Permanent

We have an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Trusts and Foundations fundraiser to lead and deliver a high-quality programme at Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO). As one of the five National Performing Companies, supported by the Scottish Government, the RSNO is a symbol of Scottish cultural excellence, delivering the highest quality musical experience and enjoyment throughout Scotland since 1891.

As Head of Development (Trusts and Projects), you will work closely with other Heads in the External Relations team as well as the Engagement and Artistic Planning Departments to identify, scope and deliver proposals, aligned to the overarching income generation strategy and plan.

With line management of a Coordinator, a salary of £35,000-£40,000 and hybrid working in Glasgow, this is an exciting opportunity for a creative and passionate trust fundraiser to play a vital strategic role in developing and expanding Trust and Foundation support for a world-class orchestra.

You will need:

• Demonstrable experience working with Trusts, Foundations and Statutory funders securing 5-6 figure grants
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal – presenting complex information clearly, concisely and persuasively
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

 
Salary £35,000-£40,000
Location: Hybrid – 3 days a week in Glasgow office
