A message from the Director of Fundraising and Campaigns – Russell Delew
At the Royal Free Charity (RFC) we’re building something remarkable – and we’re looking for talented, passionate individuals to help shape our future.
In recent years, RFC has grown into one of the country’s largest and most successful NHS fundraising charities dedicated to supporting patients, families and staff throughout the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust (RFL). Our impact extends across the Royal Free Hospital, Chase Farm and Barnet, and we’ve recently added North Middlesex strengthening our commitment to outstanding healthcare.
RFL is the largest provider of cancer services in London treating over 42,000 patients annually – set to rise to a staggering 60,000 within the next few years. In response RFL is preparing to transform the way we diagnose, treat and ultimately beat cancer. That’s why we’re preparing to launch the largest fundraising campaign in our history and one of the biggest in the charity sector today.
To achieve this, we’re building a capital campaign team to help raise £50m towards the construction of the Royal Free London Cancer Centre. The team will work closely with our newly established Campaign Development Board, world class clinicians and the wider charity.
