About the role

We are happy to be working with Brooke to find their new Head of Legacy Marketing, Administration and Community. This is a new iteration of the role designed to offer candidates an opportunity to broaden their experience. Brooke has an legacy income of £13m per annum so they need someone with experience working on similar sized income, this is why they have struggled to appoint for the role in the past.

They are seeking a strategic leader to design the charity’s legacy marketing and administration efforts. With an annual income of £13m and a £21m pipeline, this role is pivotal, as legacies contribute over half of their total income.

You will lead a team across community and legacy fundraising to deliver the five-year Fundraising and Communication strategy, focused on enhancing brand visibility and fostering supporter growth, engagement and income. You will coordinate innovative strategies to market, recruit and cultivate personalised relationships to put together a case for support to boost income.

To be successful as the Head of Legacy Marketing, Administration and Community, you will need:

  • Proven ability to develop a compelling case for support, influencing and developing strategies for long-term impact.
  • Substantial experience in legacy fundraising, you will need to have worked with income levels over £5m.
  • Significant experience leading teams and inspiring others
  • Strong internal stakeholder management experience
