Senior Development Manager – Philanthropy & Partnerships Full Time Permanent

Delighted to be working with a national health charity that is recruiting for a Senior Development Manager specialising in corporate and high-value partnerships. This opportunity will seek new partnerships opportunities, identifying those that will raise the charity’s UK profile and build the corporate prospect pipeline. This opportunity requires someone with strategic vision and the ability to work as a hands-on team member, coaching and supporting 1 direct report to build their own business development skills.

The opportunity will see the post holder develop new approaches to generate income supporting the organisation’s vital research and support work. This role will actively target new partnership opportunities that can deliver staff engagement (e.g. charity of the year), cause-related marketing activities, strategic partnerships and brand/media partnership opportunities among others.

The successful candidate will have proven experience:

• Understanding business development processes and techniques, such as building a pipeline, cultivating relationships and securing new relationships
• Using internal and external stakeholder networks to generate leads, successful targeting of individuals and trends to generate partnership discussions
• Developing partnerships proposals, pitches and applications for a range of companies and sectors

Salary: £45,011 inclusive of London Weighting

Location: Office based in Lambeth, London – working in a hybrid way
