Philanthropy Lead

Salary: £45,000-£50,000
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Location: Hybrid working between Aldgate, London office and home
Closing date: Rolling

We have a brilliant opportunity for a Philanthropy Lead working for the excellent Asthma and Lung UK. You will report to the Deputy Director of Fundraising. As part of this pivotal role, you will lead, innovate, and drive the philanthropy programme to new heights, including overseeing an ambitious Major Giving Appeal. You will lead on nurturing relationships with high-net-worth individuals, delivering exceptional stewardship and engagement, creating compelling events, and collaborating with stakeholders to maximise income and impact.

This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to shape the future of the philanthropic programme, growing the network of generous supporters, and helping to achieve transformational change.

To be successful as the Philanthropy Lead, you will need:

  • Proven experience of successful major donor fundraising, with a track record of securing six figure gifts from HNWI.
  • Proven success of developing effective donor relationships, with ability to proactively generate new prospects to help grow the prospect pipeline.
  • Experience of initiating excellent working relationships with key contacts across the charity and facilitating relationships with trustees and senior volunteers.
