National Community and Events Manager

We’re thrilled to be searching for a talented National Community and Events Manager to join the team of a health charity for 3-5 months. 
The post holder will build on the successful community and events programme including the London Marathon and identify opportunities for improvement as well as regional investment. You will be responsible for driving the event fundraising pipeline forward, with the aim to grow net income. You’ll be joining a small, committed fundraising team – with an opportunity to engage wider donor networks including those who give in memory, administer any legacies, and look at ways to encourage legacy pledges.
To be successful in the role of Community and Events Manager, you will need:

• Experience achieving event income targets and managing event budgets
• Experience in delivering outstanding stewardship to donors
• A test-and-learn approach, evaluating product journeys, sharing, and implementing learnings across event programmes.
• Strong communication skills; ability to communicate and influence others through both verbal and written media

Salary: £35,000 – £37,000 (pro-rata)
Contract: 3-6 months
Location: London office based one day per week
