I am delighted to be working with the wonderful mothers2mothers as they look for a fabulous Events Officer to join their team. m2m are there to ensure that one of Africa’s greatest strengths, its women, are at the heart of their work to end AIDS by delivering primary health care and creating a thriving, healthy Africa.
As Events Officer, you will play a vital part in helping drive the fundraising of vital unrestricted funds through managing and supporting a varied portfolio of fundraising and stewardship events. These events will vary from galas and panel discussions to international bike rides. If you’re looking for variety, this could be a great opportunity for you as m2m is keen to expand its events portfolio and continue developing new, fresh events. You will work closely with the Events Manager and Senior Events Manager to deliver first-class events, and work collaboratively with the global fundraising team to create stewardship pathways and support across fundraising teams.
M2m work a compressed week and there may be an opportunity for some international travel.
You will have:
- Experience organising and conceptualising events and delivering against targets
- Experience engaging effectively with a range of audiences and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience creating event assets/collateral & marketing materials
Deadline: Reviewed on a rolling basis
Salary: £27,000 – £32,000
Location: London, Hybrid working with some flexibility around office presence. International Travel may be required.
