Bid Writer and Manager (part-time)

Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 (pro-rata, 21 hours/week)
Contract: 6-month FTC – with potential to extend

Location: London hybrid – ideally 1 day pw in office

Closing date: 5 March

We have a great opportunity for a Bid Writer and Manager working for a small, wonderful community health-focused charity.  

Reporting to the Director of Insights, you’ll bring expertise in bid writing and research, to support the team with securing funds from trusts and foundations. You’ll work closely with the services team, to craft compelling proposals, enabling the ongoing work of the organisation’ essential community services. You’ll also integrate evidence-based data to strengthen bids and create engaging content for digital fundraising campaigns.

Additionally, you’ll support the implementation of a cutting-edge fundraising CRM system, actively participate in their Fundraising Steering Group and prepare budgets in partnership with the finance team. To be successful as the Bid Writer and Manager you will need:

  • Significant experience in bid writing and securing significant (5 and 6 figure) grants.
  • Excellent project management skills – working independently across complex projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
